From 1998, moving my studio to Madrid and deepening my focus on realism, a new quest began: how to guide the viewer’s gaze from a vast landscape toward the core subject.
Moving beyond traditional composition, I began to conceal redundant elements.
I believed that by leaving traces of what was hidden, the true beauty I wished to convey would emerge with even greater clarity.

1998年から拠点をマドリードに移し、リアリズムの世界を深める中で、また別の探求が始まりました。
目の前に広がる風景の中から、伝えたい主題へと、どのように観る人の視線を誘うか？
従来の構図法に捉われないアプローチを模索する中で浮かんだのが、「余分な要素を覆い隠す」という表現手段です。
あえて、隠したという痕跡も残すことで、真に伝えたい美しい部分を際立たせられるかのではないかと考えたのです。
